Swallowtail Finished, originally uploaded by cronkadelic.Latest finished knitting project. The Swallowtail Shawl. This was my first attempt at knitting lace. I should have used a lighter yarn. Working with a dark color makes it very difficult to see the stitches. And definitely don't work on lace after a glass (or two) of wine. I plan on wearing the shawl as a scarf, so bring on the cool weather!

Last week, I ran the JPMorgan Corporate Challenge with some people from work. The challenge is a 3.5 mile run in Central Park. It's held on two night because the event is so big. This year the event was sold out with 15,000 runners each night! It's was a lot of fun, and not too difficult to organize.
